“Angry people are not always wise.” Jane Austen, Pride and Prejudice Pride and Prejudice is my favorite book after the Bible--it's witty and brilliant and surprisingly 207 years old. Every emotion is displayed in the writing, including anger. Anger has survived throughout time and just when I thought people would become enlightened and at peace--the US is turning into a violent mosh pit. It seems that no one is allowed to have their own opinions, and people become incensed if others don't agree with them. Violence is out of control. Twenty-two people were shot in Chicago, seven in Dallas, ten in St. Lewis, and that was just the during the forty-eight hours of our last weekend. Does acting in anger ever have a good result? No! I put my trust in God, for He's in control, and then I give him my worries and anxieties. He's got this! For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7 I know the image is showing anxiety and fear--I think many people are now feeling this way? Here's a great video from Lady Gaga about kindness and respect.
This is such a positive message I had to share. I originally saw this on A Plus vid FB but couldn't find it on You Tube and I needed to get it out to the wor...

There is sometimes justification for anger - such as when gross injustices happen. The trick is to channel the anger into constructive action that addresses the cause of the anger. That is what people like Martin Luther King and your great hero Jesus did.

You said it perfectly. I think if people would learn to wait and not act while incensed, then they could come up with a plan to help change the world for the better.

Wise people can get angry when they can do nothing to stop the violence and the injustice of this world. Good video.

Angry people think they are strong, but are usually weak. Anger is just fear and or frustration.

I totally agree that it's both of those and then add intolerance and we have the violence we see today.

That’s just so sad. Anger dims our eyes and mind.

Pride and prejudice is my all time favorite too. And as far as anger is concerned, it's like any other emotion and it's natural to have it. But people need an appropriate way to vent out their emotions.. It should not trouble others.
