Good day friends
My day was calm even today, but I am just getting ready to do my training. I feel lazy, so I've been telling myself for 3 hours now that I'm going to start exercising now, but I'm still here.
I've been trying to clean the iron from rust all day. I don't know if it ever happened to anyone that the iron plate has rust. I have tried many things and I cannot solve them. I tried toothpaste, baking soda on vinegar and nothing, my iron still looks awful and leaves marks on the wardrobe.
Do you have any advice?

You're probably right, but I always tell myself I'll buy another iron and never buy it.

How damaged plate is ? I mean small part of rest can be taken care of these kinds of tricks . Please note it doesn't work in all cases.
I would suggest See if that plate can be replaced. Before giving it to repair shop do check for prize required to get it repaired doesn't go beyond cost of a new iron.

Where there are holes from which steam comes out, there is rust, and on the plate itself there is only glued ironing material.

I don't know if it is the same way in your country, but here in the US irons are so inexpensive that it would be easier to just buy a new one.

@Nevena83 I just buy clothes that don't need ironing. That solved my problem. Now I don't need to buy an iron at all. haha

You're right, that's what I did, so now I'm going to try something else with her.

I left the toothpaste on the plate for a few hours, so I will now see if it worked.

Try buying a rust remover liquid. I just don`t know if it is available there.

It sounds like you're water is the problem. Here many use distilled water in their irons but you may not have that there?

Oh yeah, I’ve watched it really give results, but I don’t have paracetamol right now.

Sorry, I have no idea. I have stopped using iron many years ago.
