I Can Still Dream Of Winning The Gold Medal At The Olympics!!

When I was a kid I took gymnastics. I was becoming quite good with walkover, cartwheels, and back walkovers. Even a walkover on the beam. But my Olympic dreams were dashed when they told me I had to do a flip on a beam 6ft high. So now I can pretend I'm a gold medalist by standing on the beam with my arms up in victory. But now I'm scared of heights. Guess I can stand next to the beam

I wanted to do gymnastics so badly as a kid. My friends who did it taught me some stuff, so that's how I learned or I should say copied. But I never got on the beam. The floor is one thing, but a skinny beam up high is scary!

@db20747 I am strong, but I hate gymnastics, I love to walk, I love to work in my garden and also to do heavy works around the house, but I never liked gym, my husband loved.

Yes remember all your great accomplishments with pride my friend! I never knew you did all that. I could never do gymnastics just not good at it. But I was an ace at swimming and archery
