I had a walking buddy this morning

I did take a picture of this buddy, but I sent it to friends through snapchat and forgot to save it. I'm not sure if the cat was a male or female. There was a tag but I didn't check the tag. It was a very friendly cat who gave me boops and flops. I've never seen this particular cat before, but it's obviously well taken care of. Oh, and I did well on this walk. I walked an hour and managed around 7K steps. I had more peak and cardio time this go around though I did skip one road that I usually walk up. It was nice out there today. I wore fingerless gloves that I crocheted yesterday and this morning. Oh and I did actually come across another person walking. Well, several really. Two were walking their dogs, but there was one other woman who was just exercising like me. She was walking at a greater pace than I was! I took a road that loops me back around and ended up coming across her twice. Just seeing her motivated me to keep moving.

Wow you crocheted gloves? So hard to do I tried but failed. Lovely kitty then you had for a friend today walking. Glad some others were out too. You did so well with the steps again! Glad it is a nice day. I am baking some oatmeal raisin cookies right now, hope to get out for a walk later but I got a delivery coming I have to wait for. Have a nice day Amber.

@RebeccasFarm Around here lately, our packages have rerouted back to the regional facility. Not just for me, but for a friend too.

Just fingerless gloves, and I messed up on one of them because I lost count. Yes, I've never seen the cat before but it was a very friendly thing. I love oatmeal cookies, but I'm not a big fan of oatmeal raisin even though I like raisins. I hope the delivery comes soon. Nothing I hate more than a delivery that is late.

I love when the cats follow me during my walk, they are nice companions.

My neighbors cat tried to follow me once. She's an outdoor cat but one that sticks around here. I had to get the neighbors attention so she could get the cat before I continued walking.

@LadyDuck This is good! My neighborhood has an area where there is sidewalks, but most of the neighborhood has none.

@ScribbledAdNauseum They always follow me when I walk, but I go down the pathway where there are no cars, they are safe.

Very true. I was amazed at the speed she was walking. She was walking up an incline.

@Courtlynn Yeah, I tend to start out slow and get a little faster but ultimately slow down again before I get back home.

It's nice that you had company on your walk. I'm so proud of you for keeping up with the walking. You crocheted fingerless gloves? That's a hard project! Kudos to you!

Thank You! Now if only I can rope my friends into doing it too. The only problem is they both live down roads that aren't conducive to walking. One is a private road with lots of pocked areas and the other lives off of a main road. I just used the double crochet stitch all the way around except for at the end where I did a row of single crochet. I'd love to make a pair of cable stitch gloves though.

@CarolDM I haven't checked our 10 day forecast out yet, but I imagine we'll be cooler too. Oh well, I'll enjoy it while I Can.

It is nice here. I can hear people out mowing their lawns today. We have a high of 70 for today, so it's a good day to do it.

It is. I've gotten more and more used to walking. I like looking at the houses in my neighborhood because they are all different.

@Nevena83 I try to walk every single day, yes. One of these days I need to walk the long loop around the neighborhood that takes forty five minutes and has lots of inclines to traverse.

That is good that the cat motivated you to keep going. I would love to see a picture of your fingerless gloves

No, it was the human that I came across that motivated me. Though if the cat keeps going around that area then I'll definitely keep walking that way. I'll have to post a picture of them later.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Got ya I thought you meant the cat. I need to start saving for a fitness tracker after the holidays as well as stuff for the grandbaby that will be coming some time next year

@Tampa_girl7 It usually does for me too, but I guess today is just a sleepy day for me. I did have some weird dreams that had me waking up more than usual. That's probably why.
