Hubby Finally was Assigned His Own Truck!!

Hubby is finally on his own with his own truck. The downside is that he has been sitting at a truck stop in Pennsylvania since 4:30 yesterday waiting to hear from dispatch to see where he will be heading next. I can't believe that they would let him sit there for so long. With all of the freight that needs to be moved one would think that they would assign a haul to him rather than have him sit and wait. Because of the worry of Covid, he only goes out to the rest area for food, showers, and use the bathroom and laundry facilities. Otherwise he sits in the confinement of the truck. His only entertainment is his phone. He does call and we videochat, but that only occupies a short period of his time. Hopefully he will get assigned a haul soon so he can get on the road and actually make some money. On the upside, he is only 3 1/2 hours from home. If he is doesn't get assigned a haul, he may be able to come home for a short time. That would be lovely considering we haven't seen him in person since November 1st.
