A good deed

I have been planning to do this after the back to back typhoon that hit our country just weeks ago but then I have to closely watch two (2) kids from playing. But today, Sunday, I asked my sister if she could watch over my baby because I have something to do. When she said yes, I immediately grabbed two trash bags and head on to the beach. There are a lot of waste around like plastic bottles, spoon, fork, cans, etc that are not biodegradable. It's really a big eye sore if you look around. I felt sad because the two trash bags were not enough and I was not able to go back and continue because it's getting dark already.
When I got home, my elder sister asked what am I holding and I said plastics I collected from the beach; I had own coastal cleanup drive. Minutes later, I heard her talking to her friends online and she invited them to have a part two of the clean-up drive by Friday. This made me even happier because more people will participate and I hope that this drive will continue and influence more people to be more caring and protective of our nature not just for a day.
