I recently purchased 3 pair of cloth masks at a Walmart for a buck a pair.

Not long before the pandemic was declared by the network news, N95 masks were available a dime a dozen. Only a few weeks ago, I paid about 15.00 dollars for 25 disposable surgical masks to protect against the spread of COVID-19. Then, while out and about shopping we went into a Walmart in a city just outside Dallas, TX and discovered to my surprise, a very large bin of pairs of cloth face masks for adults, one size fits all more or less. selling for the price of only $1.00 a pair. I figured, buy them now, even though the vaccines are right around the corner. Pfizer has a vaccine that is about 95 % viable and Moderna also has a vaccine that is about 95 % viable. These vaccines will be made available very soon and below is a link to a current article on this latest news about the vaccines to prevent and mitigate COVID-19 and it's potentially fatal effects on American lives. Peace all.

I get free masks at both of my jobs. Nice cloth ones or the cheap paper ones. Whatever my preference.

Some places I go are offering free masks. I grab one whenever I can. I just bought a holiday one for 2 bucks.

When the pandemic broke out, the chemists were laughing at me when I bought a few masks saying India is so hot the virus will not come here. The virus proved them wrong. But then, I ran out of masks, the next 8 were washable but for more than 50 INR (almost 75 cents each). Even so, N95 is N95. So I use these with a kerchief in between to get better results. So far I have escaped.

I think it's good to buy the masks for protection against the virus while waiting for the vaccine to be officially given to the public. Protection is better than cure

I still buy face masks even after the virus is gone. When the pandemic first start, face masks suddenly become scarce. Thankfully I still have face masks from SARS period. I kept them wrapped in a box. I used those masks until I managed to get fresh face masks supply.

I bought shields that I use and they are just as good as a mask.

Mask is our future fashion. And it's not only protect us against covid virus, but also dust and maybe another new virus. We don't really know what will happen next year, but buying it now is a good decision.
