Hi My lot, I recently attended (actually - am still listening to it as it ends about 11PM tonight) - Virtual Unleash the Power Within - a Tony Robbins seminar. I know I wrote back this summer where I took Tony's (free) "Comeback Challenge". This one, is a pay for, 4 day, 12 hour days, - event. Being offered virtually on Zoom. Well, I'm fortunate enough that I got in on this very, very cheaply. An internet group I'm in - a lady wanted to attend, but the fee ($500) was a little much for her. So, she got permission from Tony's team - that she could invite others to the call and split the cost. So, I ended up paying $20something . Well worth it. Gets to be a bit much- but I do other things during the day and I figure that otherwise, were I not doing this - I would be listening to an audiobook or music, anyway. Some of my main take aways - * Emotion and energy go hand in hand * My emotional "home" is equal to my quality of life * I can change my (emotional) state * Emotion is a muscle * There are 6 motivators for human behavior. These 6 needs can be met in + or - fashions. (Certainty, Variety, Significance, Love, Growth and Contribution) There have been plenty of exercises to help you discover your motivation, your fears, pump up your confidence, and I admit, that I haven't been playing "full out" as they say. So, for $20whatever I'm quite happy with it, I learned some new ways to look at life, not to mention it is interesting to see how he uses energy with the audience to keep us interested... If I would have paid the $500, I'm not sure I would be this pleased. There have been a lot of other speakers, and for portions of it Tony is broadcasting pre-recorded films of himself speaking. For $20something that's fine. For $500 I would have felt like I should get more of the man's time. Here's a brief video clip of Tony the "Shallow Hal" movie
