I like the charity that is called "Superheros Believe In Miracles" that cares for children that are battling chronic illnesses.
A young girl who resides in the Pittsburgh Pennsylvania area named Madeline DeLuca who is battling leukemia did a photo shoot earlier this year dressed as Violet of the super hero series "The Incredibles."
Madeline was rewarded by the charity by being invited to view her image in this year's calendar dressed as her favorite super hero in the Pittsburgh area.
The best part of Madeline being invited to not only the calendar up close and personal was the bonus treat of being in the month of December which coincides with her birth month.
It is comical that in my younger days living in Panama, my favorite super heroes were Superman, Captain America and the Teen Titans.
Children of this generation are fans of The Incredibles, Guardians Of The Galaxy and other Disney characters.
I wish Madeline the best of luck beating her illness since she has many good years of life ahead of her.

If she's a fighter, I am sure she'll do well. After all, as far as I'm aware, childhood Lukimia has a high survival rate.

Madeline's mom said that her daughter is a fighter. A positive view of life beats any illness to a young person.
