Yes , I cleaned the electric fan before logging to myLot. After attending the plates we used for lunch , I decided to clean my electric fan. One reason I am always sneezing is because its too dusty hahaha. I unplugged the fan , opened it and found dusts .So I used wet cloth to wipe all the dusty parts then I let it dry before placing its cover back. Now it freely releases air because its clean. Are you cleaning your electric fans too?

That is something that I am lazy doing too. But then if I find it too dusty I have no choice else we would all be sneezing when it is on. Good thing my sone already learned how to clean it so I just wash our fan in the room and one in the living room.

@iKONICNoona That's a big question. I cannot understand why since we clean the house more often than before.

@didinedhia The Philippines is a tropical country , and we have the dry season and the wet season .During the dry season or summer its hot here so we need electric fans, fans, air conditioners to keep ourselves cool and fresh. But in the wet season or rainy season we also use fans but unlike when its summer.

Yes I am. You won't feel the wind if the fan covered with dust (learn from experience)

@Cheyee Absolutely and all the dust particles will get into your eyes which will make it itchy and in your face too.

I clean it every one or two weeks using cloth and feather dust. The blades spin faster they said. I don't notice the different. I just like it being clean.

I always ask my husband to do it because I have allergic rhinitis. He would only do it if I would remember to tell him.

@jdbces I know how it feels to have allergic rhinitis .I have that too and asthma , one more reason that I should get away with dust. I wore face mask when I cleaned it.
