@ZedSmart so you used saba that's still green? interesting! i thought for banana bread, it's the overripe yellow bananas lakatan or latundan?

@hereandthere No it's not the saba. It's a ripe green bananas (Bungulan). We have that variety and it's very cheap compare to other variety.

I bake bananas with butter and a generous helping of brown sugar, which caramelises, so I get banana and toffee or 'banoffee'. This is really delicious with cream or a scoop or two of ice cream. A splash or rum doesn't go amiss, either1
