... and when I mean neighborhood I meant some hole in the wall spots located between the borders of two cities. I went downstairs in the lobby to give the package that my brother asked me to have delivered to him. I wanted to get a sandwich from Subway which is located in a nearby-condominium. Went there and found out that the place is closed on Sunday. Will have to try my luck again tomorrow. Decided to walk around the area. I'm familiar with the area because the head office of the company I used to work for was located in one of the nearby buildings. Decided to walk that way and saw some familiar hang-out spots that I used to frequent. Surprised that in the gym that I use to work out, there is already a boxing gym and an archery range. Though of going in and asking for rates and schedule availability but decided against it. I wanted to continue my walking tour. Walked further and found a couple of restaurants and bars that are surprisingly open. Poked around and didn't see anything that I liked so I continued walking. Finally reached an event center where they used to have comics and cosplay conventions. I miss those kind of events. Across the event center is a supermarket with some other bars and restaurants. The Thai restaurant is this spot is great and is a favorite hangout of mine as well. Stopped for some tom yum goong (spicy shrimp soup) and pad thai (thai styled fried noodles). Ordered a couple bottles of beers to wash it all down. Decided to open my maps app and see what other establishments are nearby. Found out that I'm a couple of blocks away from some serious burger and chicken wings and an indie pop-up store that sells graphic t-shirts. Decided to go to both places. The burger joint is closed because it is a Sunday and the indie pop-up store didn't have any pieces that interested me so I went home empty-handed. Saw my last stop which is a massage place that I have heard about before. Dropped by and they are fully-booked until 8:00pm tonight. Didn't want my visit to go to waste so I booked an early morning schedule tomorrow. It is a holiday here in Manila so I'm guessing they will have a lot of clients tomorrow. Finally, made my way back here in the condominium. All in all is was a hour of walking and discovering new places around my neighborhood,

Sometimes I also drive around the city having no exact place to go and I will discover new places that offers services I might need in the future.

@ARIES1973 a new SM mall is both a blessing and a curse in communities. That much I can say.

@allen0187 One of the most recent discoveries I have is that it is better to drive along the boulevard at night because of the beautiful lights. There are also new restaurants in the area. I am still waiting for the new SM Mall which is currently under construction.

Yes, it does. I'd love to see what else it has to offer once this pandemic is all over.

I missed even going to the Malls. I haven't been back since the quarantine began.

There's a mall downstairs and a mall across the street but these are not your typical malls. Really small crowd even when there was no pandemic and lockdown. I'm a couple of minutes away from four to five malls, as in usual malls that get a lot of people. Haven't been to any of these because I'm avoiding crowds.

That's a good way to get fesh air, exercise, and check out the neighborhood. I've been walking in my neighborhood, but not a soul has been out and about.

Agree with you there. I went out on a Sunday which explains why there are no people on the streets, at least in my opinion. Looking to go out walking again this Sunday.
