The Grand Finale For Tonight... Egg Nog

I make egg nog "almost" the same way the recipe in this discussion teaches. Alot of people preach against real eggs. I use real eggs. Some people use heavy cream. I don't. I do not allow myself to buy egg nog in grocery stores when my own egg nog is just as good, less expensive and I can prepare year-round. Usually in stores, egg nog is only available until February. I have a roommate who loves my egg nog. She just tells me not to tell her what's in it! LOL It is midnight here. I am going to take a siesta. Ciao for now! Merry Christmas!

That's great you make your own eggnog. I agree. It is cheaper to make than to buy and tastes better too.

I love egg nog but it's not on my diet unless I can find a keto version. The recipe looks easy enough.

I just looked at the recipe and when I was checking mom saw what video I am checking and My mom said, having milk and egg together is not a good idea. It's still a questionable statement and I couldn't find a reason why it is been said. But yeah mom says both are protein enriched and it would be hard to digest.
