First, no. Get it out of your head that this is 'a job.' (Yes, there's some crucial payment-arrangements you have to make; but that's just so the admin. know how to send you your little portion of the massive abundance they draw in ) This site is basically 'a public journal where you can write some ideas or reactions from your daily life (and get paid a little bit if we react or respond to your thoughts).' Yes, there are topics that more people will respond-to in ways that'll get more reactions from people; but the main principle that works here is (probably) "respond to a lot of discussions & you'll get a lot of responses on yours." (A few of the most-popular myLotters just write about little events (happening with their spouses or ex-spouses or children or grandchildren or in-laws etc), and those discussions get enough replies to show up in the Hot Discussions (which I think you can access from the link in the "Explore" drop-down menu across the top of the page))

Welcome! Quite new here too but earning will just be a bonus. It's more of being entertained, empathizing, and learning from other people's thoughts and experience, and gaining some friends eventually. If you really love interaction, I am sure you'll enjoy here too.
