The Picture Taking

First the manual signature, next was the electronic signature, and now the picture taking. It's how we received our parcel nowadays. I think it was in March when I first experience this. Of course I said to the delivery guy to do not include my face for some privacy. I believe all of the courier services are now using that strategy. Honestly speaking, I am not comfortable with that style. For foreign mylot friends, is it the way you're also receiving your packages now?

Yes that is true they need to submit that to the courier to be sure that the parcel was received properly. That is in case the buyer would complain about the products they received has some defect and some that claims they did not receive the parcel they were expecting.

@ZedSmart But l find your concerns valid too. I do not feel comfortable having taken picture of from strangers too. That’s from a point of view of customers too.

Those are valid reasons though.

Not all are adopting the methods perhaps.

Nope. We don't even have to sign for most things. For some reason a stylist is too dirty and could risk infection. Hell, when I order from Amazon, I'm told when my package is one to two houses from mine. And, reminded to 'remain six feet away'. Honestly, I'd rather go back to signing for packages when I order delivery. That way they are less likely to get lost. Or stolen. Oh wait.... stupid virus, none of that matters as long as you don't catch it....

Not sure if this is part of the 'new norm' I mean the picture while you are holding the item. Maybe, this is also to ensure on their part that the correct recipient receive his/her order.

I saw some of our kababayans take their picture holding their parcels and posing like they’re in a photo studio, with gowns and all. Lolll

I haven't heard about this but we very rarely have anything delivered so I doubt it's going to be an issue for us.

I think it would be easy for them to document like that.

I don't sign anything, they just put my package on the porch, see my face and ask for my name.
