A reunion of a Pit Bull and her owner after 11 months of separation

Kelly Shade who lives in Chicago Illinois received an early Christmas present when her six year old female Pit Bull dog named Gracie who ran away from her residence 11 months ago when a visitor who came to visit Kelly opened the door and her pet vanished. The good deal about this story was that the despite the fact that Pit Bulls are not exactly the most popular breed due to negative publicity from the news, Gracie had on her coat a microchip attached on her so she could return to her owner. After the word on the street got out about the missing dog in Kelly's neighborhood, Polly Ellison who in a neighbor took care of Gracie by feeding her to gain her confidence as her caretaker for a few months. Kate Campbell who works in her spare time rescuing stray dogs was able to locate a microchip so she could contact Kelly the good news that a reunion with her pet was coming soon. When Kelly reunited with her dog Gracie, she was happy that all of the months of pain and suffering of losing her pet 11 months ago ended thanks to good people in her neighborhood taking care of her pet and bringing Gracie back home just in time for Christmas.
