There was a group page that I joined which is actually for the low carb in which obviously it talks about exercise and diet. However I've read twice already from the women who are being stress because their boyfriend will leave them if they are not going to lose weight. Worst case there were some destructive criticism that intended to offend them by insulting them that they are being fat and even look like a pig that is why those guys are no longer attracted to their partner up to the point of breaking up. Although not so surprise due to the issue of third party and infidelity. But for me where is the substance of falling in love if the physical attraction is their highest value?
I know it is just normal to be attracted to the beautiful people and at times just because we admire them we want to know them more up to the point that we want to be friends with them then of course the bonus part is if they will become our partners in relationship. But I believe the substance of falling in love is knowing about each other, being responsible to their emotions, the love is mutual to the point of accepting their imperfections and how to deal with challenges all together.
That is not the case mostly guys are complaining about the physical attributes of their partner in which I am wondering if they themselves are handsome enough and physically fit to become too entitled of their demands.

I wouldn't be with a guy who complain about my weight to begin with. How irritating and stressful that relationship would be. I know a couple of guys like that at work. They even comment about a girl's weight when the girl is not even their girlfriend. How annoying!

Same here I won't bother to stress myself to lose weight just because of the guy but because I need it for my own health and self confidence. I can imagine how annoying that can be talking about body shaming of someone else if not the body shaming then objectifying the woman at times. I hate it as well.

You can blame society in general for that. We've set unrealstic expectations for ourselves. As a result we have to live with the consequences. I am by no means skinny, but I have a husband who loves me despite my flaws.

The culture of the society, then they will brag about maturity. Include as well how some fairytale deliver some story like perfection of face value that they became in love just because of the looks only without the substance of deep inside as a person.
