I just want to ask about the curriculum in your country as K to 12.

I just want to ask the following regarding the curriculum because I am totally curious.
1. Are there any worksheets on pre-school years? Like are they teaching them to count then eventually there is addition and subtraction already? Are they obliged to do the handwriting?
2. What grade or how old is the kid that they are being taught to read and even write?
3. Until what grade that they are not using the worksheet yet and what grade did they start to use worksheets?
4. Can you describe regarding the progressive school?
5. What is the schedule of the class?

What I have seen is that in pre -school they are first taught how to count, that’d baby class.mid class they are then taught additional and subtract and writing. In baby class they are taught coloring and tres-writing. Schedule for class differ with schools it can be from 08am to 12pm . I think that’s what I have noticed.

What usually age is the mid class? How many hours spent when it is already High School?

@Metatronik mid class it’s usually 4years.hours spent for high school is 4-5hours that’s a government school and private school it’s 7-8 whith breaks in between.

@kay990 oh just same here in the Philippines, but no idea if the public is also 4 to 5 or 8 hours as well.
