DIY Christmas Decorations

When we went out to get the totes full of Christmas decorations out yesterday to see what we had to work with, I found some wooden cut out stockings and bells leftover from a project the other half did years ago.
I decided that I was going to paint one white and then decorate it to put either on the gate or on the front door for this year.
It should be dry now. Well it was probably dry awhile ago, but I had dinner to make, and laundry to do. Then it got dark. So I'll have to finish it up tomorrow.
I am pretty excited about it though. I am going to use my Cricut to do some stuff on it. Either make decals for it, or make stencils and then paint it.
Have you done any decorating this year yet? Did you make your own decorations or go with store bought ones?

We will be decorating soon we are getting a real tree this year. It will have all store bough ornaments

We are doing a fake tree because the tree farm here closed. I've never had a real tree.
