Football and Family

In America, in the south, football rules. Once college football season starts, family life is centered around that. One of the biggest rivalries is Auburn and Alabama. We are a split family. The Iron Bowl is a big deal because it is when those teams play one another. Although the drama of our cheering and insulting one another is fun, for me, the football doesn't really matter. Sure I wear my orange and blue colors, but I am not a football fan. I am a family fan!! I love spending time with family. And if I have to watch a football game to do it, then so be it. Any football fans here? How does your families like to spend their time? The picture is of a few of my gang from our last Iron Bowl party. As you can see, both teams are represented.

Our family used to have family football games after church on Sunday. We had jerseys with our nicknames on them. Then many of them moved away and that ended.

We don't have football here. But a lot Indonesian are fans of soccer. My husband and I are into volleyball. But since there's no season for volleyball, we spend our time watching movie. Normally action. My husband doesn't like horror movie.
