Many people pay for credit repair companies to help them increase their credit scores to be able to apply for a loan or bank card. But, did you know? You can do it yourself! Yes, you can fix your own credit without any help from credit repair companies! Follow these tips to get and maintain high credit scores.
First tip: Pay down your credit card balances below 30% of the credit limit. For example, if you have a bank card with $1,000 credit limit, means you have to maintain your balance $290 or below to achieve high credit scores. Paying down to $0 balance is equal to higher credit scores. Extra tip: Pay your balance before the account statement closing date to have more time to earn money.
Second tip: Avoid getting many hard inquiries. Did you know that each hard inquiry reported on your credit file decreases your credit score by 5 points or less. Where do you get hard inquiries? Hard inquiries shows on your credit report when you apply for a loan, bank card or other financing. Most lenders check this and even having six inquiries are too many to be approved for a loan or bank card. What to do to avoid getting hard inquiries? Think twice before applying for a loan or bank card and decide thoroughly if you really need that financing or not.
I'll be giving more tips on my next post. Also, I will include ways on how to remove negative items that causes your credit scores to drop. Feel free to ask any questions regarding your credit!

Mylot is a US based site with an international membership.
Laws are different everywhere and lenders differ in their rules depending upon what country they operate in.
If you are offering tips/help it'd need to be country specific.
My country non specific tip regarding credit is very simple...DO NOT BORROW WHAT YOU CAN NOT AFFORD TO PAY BACK
