A Carrollton police officer who prefers that his name be withheld from the public is being praised for doing his work to serve his community when he went on a welfare check of a homeless man who had the bad luck of having his wheelchair broken. The police officer realized that the homeless man needed a new wheelchair since his old wheelchair lost one wheel. The police officer then went into a pharmacy to purchase a wheelchair and give the replacement wheelchair to the homeless who was happy to know that a police officer was kind enough to attend to his needs which impressed persons who witnessed this kind act of compassion.

It is very nice of the police to purchase that wheel chair. I had wheel an wheelchair before and it is not easy if the wheelchair wheels are a little tight let alone losing a wheel.

The police officer did a superb job assisting the homeless man without making a big deal about it.

Having a wheelchair lose a wheel would be devastating to a handicapped person.

I agree with you since the police officer was doing his work in a way not to attract attention.
