Frugal Shopping: Dollar Tree Haul 12.14.2020

Today after a great day at work we stopped in town to hit up dollar tree and walmart. Because they were out where I could actually go through them, we went ahead and grabbed some dvds /blu rays. Some for the kids stocking stuffers and some for us. Also grabbed some odds and ends for lunches/dinner and just stuff we needed to have for the house. For under $19 we got disposable plates, bowls and cups, candy bars for both kids, six mini Minion movies, 22 jump street, DC Villians cartoon, Chips, Friday the 13th, going In style and the house on dvd/blu-ray, juices for she child's lunches, lunchables and potatoes to go with the sausage anf corn bread I'm making for dinner tonight. I think we did pretty good. I love Dollar Tree. But y'all knew that. Lol Any food deals recently?

I've never shopped at Dollar Tree but most retailers put a lot of items on sale in January @thislittlepennyearns

What makes you say that? Dollar Tree isn't going to change their prices. I don't really know what you're trying to say by that.

I've been wanting some of those, but there's only one brand I'll buy and I havne't seen them many places yet. The Royal Dansk ones.

It def helps with kids stuff. A lot of the shirts I make for the kids, I get at DT. Name brands for $1. We got some Mossy Oak ones last year.

I was trying to figure out what that "Hug" thing is - but that must be the juice? I haven't been to Dollar Tree in a while BUT I am trying to reel in my spending a little bit, so trying to avoid the shops for a little bit. hahaha.

Yeah they are little juices, that are shaped like barrels. It's a southern thing I think. I don't think I had ever seen them till I moved down here. She child cant have anything but juice, milk or tea in her lunches when I pack them. So I try to switch up what juices she gets. He child can have soda in his packed lunches because he's in middle school now.

Looks like you really found a great deal. I also love the Dollar Tree for odds and ends. There are even times that Walmart and other grocery stores are out and lo and behold we'll find it at the Dollar Tree.

I go to DT for all the kids snacks, well not all but most of them. They eat like they've never eaten before, all day every day. So I stock up on their snacks and stuff there and juices. And most of the time that's where i get he childs energy drinks. And I swear by their off brand oxi clean. Its amazing stuff.
