My sister is currently watching a Korean horror series, the one I started watching about 3 days ago and the one that my big brother from UK suggested me to watch. My brother said the series is good, 'no hysterics', and that gave my sister the idea to watch it now. I set the big TV and the PS4 for the series and I told her I will watch on the 3rd episode since I finished the 1st and 2nd. Her favorite Korean action star will have his latest series this December 22, as told by her. I was not so keen and enthusiastic like her anymore because I have found a better male Korean actor to admire. I am very vocal in saying my admiration to him, to my sister, which she takes it in stride. She told me she has not grown fonder on this star anymore, telling me she does not read any article on him on FB anymore. But yesterday while my big brother from the capital city was communicating with her, she told me to open her phone and read the messages. Hmmmm!!! My sister is secretive; in fact, she has grown fonder of the star again. Her wall on FB was so full of the Korean star. I kidded on telling her, "You still follow him", she did not respond at me. Maybe she is ashamed because she is a fan? For me, I am not ashamed, but the Korean actor that I admire is only for me, I won't share it with her. Hahaha! Ahh, the stay-home-senior-citizen-who-is-a-fan-of-a-Korean-actor! that is me, and my sister too.

May be she is ashamed because she consider that being fond of an actor is something only teenagers do.

My mom would get along with you guys. Though I doubt she knows the actors' name. She only watch the drama instead of knowing who the actor is. Sometimes she didn't even turn the subtitle on. Makes me wonder whether she can actually speak Korean. She might be, by the amount of hours she watch dramas.

I also admired two Korean actors before but I think there was no FB yet that time, or I had no account yet.. I don't know where they are now..

Seems like you’re one of them that loves Korean movies/ mini series. I hope you’re not into their music too. I see a lot of younger people that are too hooked on kpop that they memorize the song even they do not understand what it means. I also others that started learning their language too.
