Yesterday, my neighor´s gardener helped me take out the apricots that were higher. This year, for some reason, the apricots are very small. I think that it was lack of rain.
So I´ll make a jar of apricot brandy to take to the mountains when we go. I will also see if I can make a pot of jam, provided I find some jars to recycle.
For the brandy you let the half ripe apricots soak in a strong brandy for 20 days. Then you take them out and add syrup to the apricots in one jar and to the brandy in another.
I love it.

I´ll have to make it tomorrow. Claudia is taking me to the doctor for my muscle atrophy.

That sounds a wonderful idea and very easy. My friend bought organic apricots here but they were full of fruit fly.
