So the local authorities permitted it?

Our place is still under the general community guidelines per the national government declaration among of the few cities and municipalities. The rest of the country is on ModifiedGCQ, less strict compared to GCQ. I thought that gathering is still strictly not permitted but the church here with their evening mass for Christmas season accepts attendees already. I heard that in other areas of the country, mass is livestream. This is ironic to the radio broadcast the other day that the city will be placed under a hard lock down. I'm just glad that the lock down is not true. It may be just an announcer's opinion and not an announcement from the official themselves. I did not hear the announcement though as I rarely listen to radio programs nowadays.

They are starting a new lockdown from the 22nd... just to avoid large gathering, the Mass is on TV.

We lightened up the restrictions in the US and a second wave of Covid hit us with wrath.

I think we should not be very complacent yet. The threat is still wrapping at us around.

It's hard to know what is, or isn't true anymore. Mainstream media appears to have an agenda and you can't really know what to believe. It's why I check multiple sorceses or more trustworthy sourceses before I believe anything.

I did not believe when my colleague told me what he heard. It's definitely fake news.

Unfortunately, I do see some disparity in implementing the guidelines or even the lock downs there. The rich people still get to gather round and party like everything is normal. While those who braved to go out to earn a living were apprehended and even fined. How is that right?

Oh no! That is not right. Here, we have this quarantine pass to bring when going outside to avoid penalty. APOR requires only a proof of employment.

Radio commentors are usually exaggerating things on the air. And it makes the listening public confused.
