Are you having or going to a big Christmas dinner or party?

Ever since Thanksgiving, all of the powers that be are saying, don't have or go to a big Christmas dinner, or whatever, just limit yourself to those in your own household. My family is doing this. Several in the family are high risk, and none of us want to take a chance. I have heard several friends going on and on about all the company they are having, or going somewhere to be with family and friends. I think I would rather stay home than run the risk at this point. Just wondered if those that celebrate Christmas in here are hunkering down, or going places?

Most of the celebrations and public gatherings stay suspended here. Even the annual Christmas Carnival is not there this year in our apartment. Better to stay safe and distanced. You are doing the wise thing

I almost wish the US could be in a strict lockdown for like a month. It would make a huge dent in cleaning this mess up. Thanks.

I think so, too. Not exactly fun but we do what we have to do right now.

We will have a very small Christmas dinner with family members. This year, my husband's elderly mother will not be traveling to town to join us as she is considered high risk. We don't want to expose her . We'll just have to make up for it some other time. Initially it is just going to be my husband and I. But his niece invited us, so it will be us, and his nieces with their fiances.

It will be just us that live here on the property. My youngest daughter and her family and my oldest daughter and her family. My oldest moved out here a few months ago and live in my youngest daughter's basement. It has a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen etc. I live in my own little tiny house on the property.
