it turns out that we as humans can only unite when facing other races of living beings huh? when we hear about the existence of aliens, we all agree to unite as a human nation, forget about differences and together find out where they are. we all unite because we feel threatened by their existence and begin to work together to find out the existence of aliens. I never thought what would happen if aliens did not exist, surely we can be sure all humans are hostile to each other and do not think to unite as one species. humans can only come together as one species if they feel they are in competition with other nations / races of creatures
