A Week Until Christmas... Your To-Do List Today

Okay, that was supposed to be yesterday's headline but because it was our 44th wedding anniversary, I didn't get it written. Not that we did anything special lol... but we did what we could to make the day special. And it was. Hubby went out of his way to be romantic lol and he would kill me for saying it lol. But he made the day was special for the both of us. Anyway, now that I have that out of the way, what's the biggest thing that you still have to do to get ready for Christmas? With all of the time that we have had to cross things off our lists, there might not be a lot this year. I know that I'm pretty much done. There won't be any last minute Christmas Eve shopping that I love to do. We are sadly in a Red Zone :( so we will simply be enjoying each other's company and that is the one perk that this pandemic was landed us with. So, what else do you have to do before Christmas arrives??

how sweet 'n happy belated anniversary wishes. ours 'tis like all other special occasions 'n treated like e'ery other day. we're 'lso 'red zoned', 've been since prior to turkey day here'n the u.s. 've nothin' to do, we're gonna shoot fer june-ish fer a family celebration 'f all thingies missed - holidays, birthdays, graduations, etc. i've grand hopes that folks'll embrace the true meanin' 'f this time 'f year. commercialism seems to've o'ershadowed such.

A Happy Anniversary to you both! Well, today we will put up the tree and decor (but minimally). Once that's up, I have just some minimal wrapping to do. Other stuff on the checklist - gingerbread houses, baking, and figuring out exactly what we'll have on the holiday menu.

Nothing really. We have to get christmas cards.That's about it. The calendar, too but then again, this is the time the new ones come out.

First of, happy anniversary! And yes, I can't believe we only have a week left before Christmas. My biggest thing on my list is wrapping my husband's gift - which is set to be delivered on the 24th. I know, I'm cutting it close!
