I've decided what I'm having for my Christmas dinner.

So, I've decided what I'm having for my Christmas dinner.
I'm having two stakes of salmon, with curly pasta (I can't remember the real name for it), frozen green peas and asparagus.
I looked on the internet for recipes and the best way to cook them.
So, what I'm going to do is cook the curly pasta according to the pack instructions. Then I'm going to fry the salmon. I have to season it first with sea salt and pepper. Then fry it on both sides. Then I'm going to cook the asparagus, also in the frying pan, and then, also in the frying pan, I'm going to do the peas. After that I'll combine everything in the pan for another couple of minutes before serving. I'll pour any left over oil over it all when I've finished.
What do you think of this idea for a Christmas dinner?
Before this, on Christmas Eve, I'm going to bake an Aduki Christmas Cake.
That's a Christmas cake made with Aduki beans. I'll use no eggs, milk or sugar. Just whole wheat flour, regular flour, baking powder, cocoa powder, a bit of maple syrup and some coconut flakes for topping. What do you think of this? It is very tasty.
So, what are you having for Christmas dinner? Turkey and all the trimmings? Or are you opting for something different this year?
I hope you are well. Have a nice night.

I think it all depends on what ends up happening. I suspect it'll be something out of the freezer, unless I make a meal with the beaf tips or hamburger.

Salmon for Christmas dinner? Sure, sounds really lovely. I love salmon. Not so sure about the cake but only because I've never heard of it.

I really like salmon but nowadays I only have it for special occasions. I don't expect you to have heard of the cake. It's a special Macrobiotic recipe.

I did explain in my post. It's cake made with Aduki beans. It doesn't have eggs, milk, or sugar in it. Just whole wheat flour, plain flour, baking powder, cocoa powder, a spoonful of grain coffee, soy milk, a bit of maple syrup for the sweetness, and coconut flakes for topping. It's very tasty. It doesn't taste much different to regular chocolate cake.

What a coincidence, our dinner tonight is grilled salmon steak. Well, my husband cooked it in our smoker.
Christmas dinner will be hosted by my husband's niece, and I think we'll be having brisket, and other foods that I cannot remember. I will be making some desserts to bring with us.
