Evening gossip,I just hated it! / myLot

Yes,i really hate to be the topic of gossip This oldies at home i used to listen whenever she's talking on phone,me and hubbie is her topic.But infront,she talked very nice on us. She's thinking i cannot understand her dialect.grrr! I cannot understand why there are such people who cannot discipline there tongue.

Unfortunately, there will always be people like this. I am originally from the Philippines, and the sad part is those who are also from there are the ones who like spreading gossips about me - even those who I have not even met yet! I think I've heard it all - from me being snobby, a social climber, having venereal disease (I mean, really???), name it, I think I've heard it all. But whenever I am around, they are nice to my face, sometimes even asking if I can lend them some money, if I can help them or their spouses in finding a job. Sighs...

@rhuenz Yep. And it is sad that the people who I thought will be more understanding and helpful seeing as we all came from a different country are the very ones who are intent to put me down. It's like, yes, they want me to succeed. As long as I do not become more successful than they are.
