Day 136
Promise 595
2 Corinthians 4:15 For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.
16 For which cause, we faint not; but though our outward man perishes, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, works for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
When circumstances weigh you down, and life takes an unexpected turn, you look for the light at the end of the tunnel. You know your life can’t always be dark and dismal without hope.
Paul told the Corinthians everything happened to bring God glory. Not that God wanted to see them suffer, but to give Him thanks in the middle of their struggles. He didn’t want them to give Satan any ground, but allow the inward man to become renewed through their faith. He told them to look at life with the eyes of faith.
As Christians, your struggles might seem endless. When one problem terminates, another one pops up in its place. With the worldwide Coronavirus pandemic taking the lives of friends and family, it might seem you have nowhere to turn. Yet God is still on the throne. He hears every prayer and sees every trouble. Jesus is right there in your midst. His promise is to bring you through your trouble, not increase it. His promise is to give you strength in the midst of your battle. His promise is that what you are going through is temporary, not permanent. Let your faith arise and call those things which are not as though they were and watch God work the victory in your life through your faith.
Satan wants to push you down, keep you in bondage to your circumstances. Don’t let him crush you. Let your faith crush him and watch God work in your life.
Let’s pray: Father, life looks bleak. Everywhere I look darkness covers my life. Take away the darkness and let Your light shine through and bring hope. Take my trouble and make it Yours. Renew my faith and bring strength to my life. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

I know that our real life is like a roller coaster. I don't need to elaborate it.
