It's a gorgeous day out there. Just finished shoveling my part of the drive. A ton of snow out there thanks to the last couple of days. Wrists kind of hurting from the last three days of throwing snow.. But I will live ;) Just got in, peeled off layers and remembered that I hadn't taken my blood pressure. I don't think that I have told you but I'm determined to get off my meds. With all the exercise and the meditation I have been doing, I think that it is working!!! My numbers have been awesome lately!! But enough about that, I do have to tell you about our new snowblower. Compared to the one that we needed in Manitoba, this one looks like a baby lol. But, it did it's job this morning and that's all that matters. Not that I had to do it lol... that's hubby's job. I take care of the walk ways and throwing snow balls at him as he clears the driveway. I miss most of the time and then he retaliates by turning the snowblower nozzle on me (not sure what you call it) so that I get blasted with snow coming out of it. This morning I was so hot lol... it felt pretty good. For what is usually pretty boring time of the year... it's been a pretty good day!!! So, now tell me about your day and if you have anything planned... any Christmas left-overs still in your house??

We get a lot of rain this time of year. A couple years ago, we had a lot of snow. Today, we had some gorgeous sun. Though cool out, I took advantage and piddled outside raking pine needles away from the cabin, swept my porch and just soaked the sun in. No leftovers from Christmas. I made tree small street tacos. Those little tortillas are a challenge to fold.

Our weather doesn't seem to know what it wants to do these days. This morning we have gotten rain, snow and a wee bit of sun!

No one in the family wants the turkey. Looks like we won't bother next year ;)

I can just see you throwing those snowballs. I love it! No Christmas leftovers for me, unfortunately.

I'm so glad it rarely snows here, I don't do well in that kind of cold. It's 2:20 pm and 64f which is great for drying the clothes and nop, no leftovers, ate that yesterday.

Yeah, you say that now but in summer it's not unusually to get temps over 100f for days at a time very little rain if it even rains at all @Hate2Iron

I don't know what we will do next year. No one wanted the turkey and we have tons of it left. And our Christmas Pudding didn't turn out too well either lol... Just something about this year that screwed up everything!!!

@Hate2Iron i'd divide that turkey 'nto packets 'n freeze 't fer later dishes. dunno 'bout the Christmas puddin', 've ne'er had any so'd not know the diff'rence, lol. there's many lessons to be learnt by all with this pandemic. such lingers 'n grows'n surges coz too many've not paid mind to such. jest my 2 cents anyhow.

Good job on getting your BP down. Throwing snow balls at your hubby sounds like a good job to have. Yes, we have leftover cabbage rolls from Christmas. They are disappearing fast.

We have turkey that no one seems to want to eat lol. We have been moving away from meat, but turkey/cranberry and stuffing sandwiches we thought we weren't ready to give up. Apparently we are. I wonder what cranberry and stuffing sandwiches would taste like. ;)

@Hate2Iron I LOVE stuffing, especially my sausage stuffing. I could just eat it right out of the bowl.

That definitely would have helped. Mine are too far away and we are in a province wide lock down so we couldn't even if we wanted to.
