A story of a North Carolina man who kept moving forward in life

I like this story of Joe Camp who lives in Charlotte North Carolina who took the advice of his relatives to keep moving forward and self belief after he was laid off from his preschool teachers job in September due likely due to the pandemic.
To make matters worse, Joe's father died a month later. However Joe's relatives told him to believe that something good would come out his troubles.
Joe recently landed a job at a local auto dealership which is helping him to pay his bills for the time being.
Recently Joe purchased a Gold Rush ticket from a British Petroleum (BP) gasoline station in Charlotte.
Joe jumped for joy when his winning lottery ticket was worth $250,000 dollars before taxes which ended up getting Joe over $176,000 dollars.
Joe is going to spend his lottery winnings to buy a new home and save for his daughters education.
In my view Joe did take the advice of his friends and relatives to believe that good things would happen despite the dark time he went through three months ago.

As actor Sylvester Stallone said about life "You keep moving forward. See how much you can take. That is how winning is done."

@msdivkar Thank you for the kind comments. It was from the movie "Rocky Balboa" which came out in 2006.

Thank you for this post. I am so glad you won the lottery and after taxes still had a nice amount to have left to buy a house and also for his daugher's education.

That is nice. I just now reread what I wrote and sorry I thought you did and thank you for pointing out that it was Joe Camp and not you. Sorry about that mistake I made.

You are right since the late football coach Vince Lombardi said in one his quotes "Quitters never win and winners do not quit."
