A Quick Work For A Client

I received an email from a client this afternoon. They said that they just dumped a lot of invoices for entry in their portal, and will need these processed within the next 24 hours. I figure that since I am not very busy I can take some of the tasks, so I logged in and started processing. Right now I am taking a few minutes' break. I think I have processed 71 invoices/receipts so far. My husband initially thinks that it is a waste of time because the pay is not very high. But I enjoy it, and as I gather more exposure, my accuracy percentage levels up and will make me qualify for higher paying projects or tasks. The pay may not be much, but every little bit helps. And if I am busy or if I am not in the mood, I can choose to decline their offer. It's still early, so I will be going back and do some more work. Then I will do some bit of mylotting before I call it a night. The husband is working out so I have an hour or so by myself.

I would like to find some work like that. I don't really have that many hobbies out of my main job and I figure my time could be better spent doing something like that also.

This is perfect for me, as I am mostly online anyway. Instead of scrolling and being upset over social media I just spend my down time doing something I like while earning. Plus all I need is an internet connection (which we already have) and a tablet or laptop.

If the task is not too complicated, it would be okay if the payment is not too high. It can add to your experience which can be of help in the future. Good luck on your freelance work.

@Raine38 Most of all, you are enjoying what you are doing and less stress because you are working on your own and without a boss.

Thank you, and yes this is something that I am still building on. It may work and pay off soon, or not. At least even when I am just online and sitting in our living room with my husband, I can still earn a few change.

@ARIES1973 Definitely! Who knows, maybe someday this side job kicks off that I will be able to quit my real job.

Even if the payment is not high but it helps and you enjoy it, that's the matter. You also gain more experience too.
