Wet morning...last day of the year.

Good morning Thursday from this side of the planet
We woke up to a wet morning and it's still drizzling. It's 7:30 AM. I don't mind it raining today as we had a good two weeks break from rain and all these days it was bright and sunny. It felt warm after Christmas and that's unusual for this time of the year. Guess, weather realized it and today the cold and chill is back and it does feel like this time of year
Today is the last day of this historical year 2020. This year would definitely go down in history though it might be for the wrong reason... But for sure many generations would read it as an year where the human civilization went for a stand still due to a virus.
Hope you all have a good day. Nothing planned for a new years eve here. So it will be a quiet welcome for the new year with high hopes and a silent prayer. Wishing you all a good year ahead with happiness and health
Here I share the picture .. A collage of all the gifts that I kept under the Christmas tree. Well, I am a little delayed but still in time. .
A decor bottle and a set of bottle and can openers for my husband... And I was happy that he loved it. Men love their bars. A book for my elder one.. She asked for it last month. Bread pan and cupcake pan for my younger daughter who just loves baking
. So there was something for everyone and they enjoyed unwrapping their gift
There was none for me. My Santa ( husband) was lazy till last moment and now the gift is on its way. I should be getting it by tomorrow and so it would be a new year gift too.

Glad to hear your new years eve is a good one so far. I'm behind by a few hours, it's night here on the 30th. Hope to see my paycheck grow tomorrow, seeing as how I'm supposed to get paid on the third, but that's Sunday and government buildings will observe new years. so....

When I reach home after this therapy session, the gift should be there. I got a call from delivery person that he has come. So it must have been there received at home

In senior classes, students do need some physical interaction.
I am wondering how the Science Practicals of classes 9 to 12 being conducted especially Chemistry?
But physical classes would also mean mask wearing for a long time.

We did dance but to different hindi numbers....
Well, school starts from 4th. And we might have physical school for tenth standard students in batches. So may be I need to go to school a few times in a week for physical classes. Still no official announcement has come. And board exams have been postponed to May. So guess, academic year is prolonged. Now we are not sure about summer vacation plan too.

I feel good that our city has more or less the same pleasant weather throughout the year. I have grown up in Delhi and seen extreme temperatures. Also stayed at places with freezing winters. So I really appreciate what we get here.
