To close off this year which has been tough on all of us due to the Coronavirus and natural disasters, a rescue story from Wyoming is here. A male driver whose name was not released is grateful that deputies from the Sublette County Sheriff's Office along with volunteers as well as EMS workers came to the scene of the accident where a truck fell into the Green River. The driver was rescued by the deputies and firefighters who used a ladder from the bed of the truck and bank of the ice to get the man out of his truck that was partially submerged. The driver was able to get out of his truck through a window and using the ladder to get him away from the danger zone. The two dogs were rescued by volunteers of the TipTop Search and Rescue who used their expertise to save both dogs from drowning in the river. The male driver who is in his early 20s was taken to a local hospital where he is expected to recover even though his condition was not reported as well as his dogs. It is being investigated by the authorities to determine the cause of the accident. The truck was taken out of the river by a towing company. Happy new year to all of you from yours truly.
