Goodbye, December 2020, and 2020 In General.

Hello there, everyone. It’s almost 11:30pm on my end (East Coast of the USA; EST time zone), so there’s less than an hour of December and 2020 in general. Actually, we only have close to a half-hour of 2020 here in Maryland.
There have been some ups and downs this year. I enjoyed the holiday season, and Mom’s second cataract surgery went well. But unfortunately, people were suffering for one reason or another (i.e., loss/grief).
And I don’t even feel like going through the ups and downs of 2020. We all know how much of a roller coaster it was for many, no need to go through it all again. I, like many others, know things aren’t going to magically change overnight, but the feeling of a new start can keep hope alive.
All I’m going to say is Happy New Year’s Eve and Happy New Year to all of you. I hope 2021 is a decent year for everyone. As for me, while I want to try to take better care of myself, my goal is to just take it one day at a time and get through 2021 with my sanity intact lol.
You all have a good night or good morning. Stay safe and take care, everyone.

How is your mom doing now? Hopefully good..
I hope 2021 is a great year for you, even if only by the little things, due to the virus still being here.
