New Year 2021 talk, Plumbing Tales and a bit of a scare

First of all a Happy and Joyful New Year 2021!!
I do not have too high expectations from this year, yet I just hope that it turns out to be a better one for the humanity than the last one.
I have been kind of on and off here.
Some challenges have been there in the offline life.
First some leaking taps in the bathroom needed urgent repairs.
The plumber took a lot of time. It is better now but to have totally excellent conditions, some investments would need to be made, which I might make later.
Third, I had a bit of a scare due to cold plus some soreness in the throat.
It is better and perhaps my digestive system also needs some care.
In these days, even a little health problem creates concern as I had went to a Marriage function recently.
Anyways enjoy the New Year day plus the weekend.

New Year wishes to you. I hope you get good price for your flat. With time, plumbing repair needs do get arise. So did that flat had any seepage and leakage issues?

My plumbing problem still exists. Sigh. Glad yours had been done.
Everyone is under the weather this New Year's day. Mild headache for me but it was probably due to the midnight madness of watching fireworks lighting the heavens.
When everything is dire, there's no way but things to become better. So, 2021 will definitely be a better year.

I hope that your headache gets some relief.
I am feeling a bit better today. Extreme cold is tough to handle.
Actually, the simpler part of Plumbing has been taken care of. However, for getting things in a better state, we need to invest. Plus since we are in a rented place, I would try to get the Landlord to pay for somethings which could be tricky as he tries to cut on costs.
However, I would have it done after winters and once Covid situation stabilizes further (Hopefully that would happen with vaccines).

The older the house gets the more repairs it needs.
Yet more finances are needed and that is not always easy.

Thanks I am feeling better. We have decided not to go outside for a few weeks except for groceries.
When the weather becomes warmer, then we can plan.

You are so right. Even a slight sickness can be so worrisome. Just keep investing in good health and immunity. I am sure more and more viruses and sicknesses are going to be there in coming times. And health and immunity is the only organic way to fight them. Hope all well with your health now.

Yes good immunity is ultimately the best hope as how long can one keep on be at home most of the times or keep on following distance and other things.
Yet I am hoping that the two vaccines- Covishield and Covaxin do good in India.
