One Pot Pasta

I made one pot pasta tonight for our lunch tomorrow. I just put thin spaghetti, fresh cherry tomatoes, green bell peppers, garlic, chili flakes, parmesan cheese, olive oil, and flaked baked salmon fillet into a pot with a cup and a half of water. It turns out to be amazing, and now my husband says he wants to eat this for dinner tonight. But I made him stir fried vegetables with left over ham for his lunch and dinner tonight. I have to send him away to go workout while I pack this into our glass containers for our lunch tomorrow. But what is going to stop him from heating this up for dinner. Oh well... Either way, I am glad that he likes it, and he will eat healthy.

Sounds yummy. It sure is very healthy. So you know whenever your husband eats it he'll be healthier.

That's the plan! But I know he sneaks in some snack when he feels like snacking. He "punishes" himself though by spending extra time at the gym.

I do have some dishes that I make with rice, I make my own version of paella or Spanish rice. Then there's my version of congee with boiled eggs and shredded baked chicken. Oh man, now you're making me hungry just thinking of these food.

It looks like the pasta you make has more flavor than what I usually buy.

With fresh salmon fillet and vegetables, it definitely has a mix of flavors. I just need to add some salt and pepper and that's it.

That's the main goal, right? If he eats it tonight or for lunch tomorrow as intended, you know for sure he's getting at least one healthy meal that you prepared. We may not always do right, but it's the thought that counts.

Yep, you're right. It also saves us money if we eat home cooked meals rather than ordering takeout from fast food restaurants.

One pot pasta is always my favourite recipe whenever I am lazy to cook. It's easy to make and not consuming time like what we usually do.
