My mother is sick

My mother suddenly get sick on New year's Eve. She welcome the new year with fever. She has cough and sore throat. Her body aches too. Since she cannot work I wash a lot of dishes now and wash the clothes. Good thing my brother do the cooking now so less stress for me. She will go to the hospital tomorrow. I feel it's not a good luck to welcome the year with sickness

Oh! Sorry to hear about it. I hope it's a regular seasonal stuff and not something serious. In this pandemic time, even a simple cold and cough raises alarm. Hope she gets better soon.

Ok good thing that you decided to get her checked up soon. I think that those symptoms are the symptoms for COVID so it is good that you have her tested to be sure that it is not the virus that is infecting her. Hope she will not be positive for the virus.

We send her to hospital on first day of the year. She will be check tomorrow for COVID. We don't think its COVID

@averygirl72 l hope so it’s not it. The symptoms are quite similar to Covid. I got it and it started as fever with colds then got cough and after that l got pneumonia after a week. It started slow on me then after a week l thought l was recovering already then slowly l lost taste and smell and I was surprised that my breathing got harder. I stayed in the hospital for 2 weeks recovering from it.

I'm really sad. I'm happy no one is send to the hospital this whole year. I didn't expect the first day of the new year she needs to go to hospital
