And this is why I can't be trusted with scissors

Because this happens!
You see? A whole blouse was made because I picked up a pair of scissors!
Some of you asked to see the end product and well here it is! I've tried it on and this fits perfectly whereas the first one I made is a little snug.
What's different with this shirt? :
Different colorway (same brand)
Two more rows added to the middle
Two rows of single crochet around the collar
One row of single crochet at the bottom
The sleeves are two rows single, one row double and one row single.
The sleeves fall of the shoulders which I like.
Next Crochet Project
I think I'd like to tackle a pair of shorts and I might find another blouse to make. I made this from a tutorial on youtube and I've perused the channel for a blouse I'd love to try. It uses the DC4together stitch (double crochet four stiches together) to make a fan like stitch.

Thank You. I do too and I'm glad I used black to stitch the item together and to border the top and bottom.

@LadyDuck Yes, if I do a blue blouse again I might border it in a darker or lighter blue. I am now crocheting a purple blouse with this same pattern and I plan to border it in purple.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I am sure that even a blue border would have looked great.

Thank you. One side is different and I like that. I can wear the shirt anyway I want.

@Tina30219 Yeah. Plain colors are pretty too, but I like having the ability to flip them around.

Thank You!
I'm normally really awful with scissors and honestly I need to buy new scissors or get a sharpener because these are dull.

It turned out really cute! But when I asked for you to post a picture, I was hoping you'd be wearing the shirt!

I figured that's what you meant.. I have a picture of me in the shirt but I'll be honest, I didn't feel like uploading it to facebook and then here.

Thank You. I love this color too. I will be definitely buying more yarn in this color. I am looking at other patterns now and trying to decide what I want to make.

I am impressed, You are really taking to this crocheting like a duck to water. Maybe you should crochet all your Christmas presents...and also sell stuff on Etsy. You are very good at this!

There are some things I need to work on and I'd like to get a better yarn needle (because I think it would make all the difference) but maybe I'll open an etsy shop one day. There are other things I'd like to try like making my own stuffed animals.
Christmas presents are a definite though.

Amazing work and design Amber. You should have your own shop.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I guess in order to have a shop tho you would have to be mass producing Aw your Mother sweet:)

Oh, I'm nowhere near confident enough for that yet. Maybe one day. My mother used to sell her crocheted things, but she made doll clothes and little magnets. One of these days I would like to crochet my own doll and clothes for the doll.

@RebeccasFarm Not necessarily. I could do an online shop and have it listed custom order.
Yes, she loved to crochet, but she also loved other crafts too.

I didn't like them at first but I was glad I made them this length after I saw that the sleeves fall to my shoulders.

It would fit between a size Large and X-Large in American measurements. I don't know the width or length.

That's a really good end product. You should be trusted with scissors more often.
