I'm making a list and checking it twice but not to see who is naughty or nice

Sometimes I lose people on here, mylot. My close friends, many whom I visit with daily or more often I don't lose but some that I visit with less often. It may be that you don't write many discussions and I can't find you as easily or that I simply forget to stop by because I've not seen you in someone else's discussion.
I'm making a list of usernames. I did that when I was on bubblews. There it let me copy and paste the username to a cloud service that I use and I could click the link to make my visit. For whatever reason the link doesn't work here or on the current cloud server I'm using.
For instance, with JJ it's hard for me to remember the letter and number combination he currently uses so I wrote it down. I have no problem remembering one of his previous incarnations though.
So I'm making a list and I have to check it twice or more to make sure the letters and numbers of the usernames are in the right order. See you around.

@MarshaMusselman I always work from my computer, I have no idea if this would work on a phone. I only use my smartphone to call people and receive calls.

So do you bookmark their profile page then? That might work too except I work mainly on my phone and it doesn't have a lot of space left for additional bookmarks. But maybe they'd be saved in the cloud too?

@LadyDuck I might take time and at my computer begin saving some that way. I should be able to access them with my phone but will double check that first.
I just looked and my bookmarks on my computer aren't available on my phone. I'd have to have a lesson on how to save a bookmark on my phone.

That's a good idea. I remember my daily friends. I have a photographic memory.
. Otherwise, I find most of them in my notifications or here and there on the site. I'm not tech savvy to make spreadsheets anymore like I used to do when I taught. I will find you!!!!

I'm not concerned about remembering you or several others here. I think we see each other enough even without photographic memories.
I've tried Mr Owl's suggestion and Anna's but I think I'll keep what I'm using at present otherwise I'll need to take time to delete some photos to have room for another app on my phone.

@DianneN for the most part that works for me too and sometimes I'll go to someone's page that gets lots of activity and look for people there. But, when my time I'd more limited I think my list will work best the way I've started it.

I have done that ages ago and I have made a note and adjusted my usage here directly on the site. I keep nothing no lists or the like..that sounds very creepy to me.

I want making a list but as I'm older I think that would be wise unless I want to just use my following list which someone else does. But to me that would take time to go through all the names to find one or a handful I want to visit again.

That would be a good strategy I can use as well. It is quite hard to remember tricky and complicated usernames.

Your notepad on your desktop, like the word notepad or another brand?
I've used notepads on my phone many times but I've also had a phone crash and want able to bring the notes to my new phone so I'm switching to a cloud notepad which I can access on any device.
I'm going to check out Mr Owl's suggestion.

Is not bad if they keep either their usernames or avatar the same but when both change then I get confused too.
