Before I close my curtain tonight, let me share this story of mine with a 10-year-old girl student. We were discussing food that can make people sick. According to her, bat meat made her sick big time. I was not surprised because it was an issue that coronavirus caused by it. I did not ask further because it is forbidden to talk about topics that are related to this virus. Did you ever experience getting sick with a particular food? What was it? Just the thought of eating bat meat makes me sick! No, nothing I’ve eaten has made me ill.

Indeed not a good idea to eat bat meat. I cannot even imagine cooking. For me, eating too much seafood will trigger my skin allergy.

Eel is the most ridiculous food for me, I even don't want to remember when I ever eat this.

Some local people eat them here. I never dared to eat it. I am so imaginative when eating something.

This does not count as a good but while at my friends wedding I had a bunch of Jell-O shots and got sick my boyfriend said it looked like every color of the rainbow. I have not had jello since this either but I might be soon

I am sure you were so ill at that time. Even I don't like eating fish with soup. I always puke when eating it. That's why I never dared to eat this kind of meal.

@LadyDuck I remembered that horse meat is commonly consumed in Japan. How long did you endure the sickness of this red meat?

@Shavkat No, I think it was meat like beef, but surely from bulls, they have many bulls in Spain. they do not consume horse meat in Spain, while it is very common in France. It is a crime not to specify if it is Horse meat because this is a meat forbidden by Jewish dietary laws (horses do not have cloven hooves and they are not ruminants).

I can't remember but one time I a grilled fish makes me dizzy and vomiting. My whole body also turned red but I felt better after vomiting and taking some sugar. Could be an allergy.

I, myself have an allergic reaction when eating some seafood like squids. If eating fish, I usually puke if it is in the soup.

I had a shrimp wrap from a fast food restaurant years ago, and I got food poisoning. My mom had the same shrimp wrap, and she got sick too. It was years before I could eat shrimp again.

That's not a good feeling. Did you report this incident at that time? I love eating shrimp, but I cannot eat them raw like 'jumping salad' as they called it.

Goodness, the things that kids say! I am allergic to eel, but I can eat any other fish or seafood. I do not eat exotic foods though.

I am allergic to certain seafood, too. I must admit that there are so many strange foods in China. I was not informed that I am sipping a turtle soup before there. That's the reason why I wasn't surprised that she ate this bat meat.

Yes, one year I didn't want to go to the office Christmas, but was going anyway reluctantly.. That night I ate clam chowder and was very, very ill and the next day called in sick to work, missed the party. A few of them didn't believe me because originally i didn't want to go, but it was for real.

I usually have tummy ache when eating clams. I am sure you tried your best to convince them. Are you still having the same condition when eating it?

I was having a buffet with my friends in a Chinese restaurant before. An hour later at home, I vomited not because I have eaten a lot but I think, I am no longer immune to glutamate. It happened twice and so I pass when my friends invite me to another Chinese food.

@Shavkat This was a medical test and not school exam test. I can see when your stomach acts up how you would feel the same way that I described.

Not really. Mostly I eat home cooked food. Even if I eat outside I eat from good restaurants, not much street food.

Lobsters, shrimp, crabs, and the like make me have a skin allergy. I can eat them if I have my anti-histamines with me all the time.

I think I have had such situations many times in my life. The last I remember were tomatoes, it turned out that their skin was too hard and I couldn't digest them.

That's what I don't want to happen. It is not a good feeling if feeling indigested of food.
