Keto Review: Ketofit Bar - Chocolate Flavor

Hello everyone, how are you doing today? I am back to share another Keto Review. This time of the Ketofit Chocolate Bar. We got this product in a Keto Box recently. Before I tell my thoughts on the product, I will share about the price and nutritional info. On the Ketofit website, you can order a box of these for $40 - you get 12 bars in the box. That makes each bar about $3.33. Each bar has 290 calories, 24 grams of fat, 12 grams of protein, 13 total carbs and 4 net carbs. The macros of the bar are pretty good. I was not a big fan of this bar. I thought it would be much better with it being chocolate - but the flavor was just weird. It was not the worst thing we have tried from one of the Keto Boxes, but I definitely would not recommend this product. I'd much prefer to eat a Quest protein bar because I know those taste good. Have you tried one of these Ketofit bars? Any other kind of bar? How about the quest ones?

It looks like they used erythritol and stevia.

@MommyOfEli2013 Oh okay. I was wondering if it was the sugar that was causing the weird taste / flavor.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I use an erythritol/stevia mix when I bake things...so shouldn't be that! Maybe it was the collagen.

Well, can't like them all. But when neither of us like it that's when it is a waste.

@just4him Now if I could pick out my own things and get 10-15 items for the same price that'd be better.

Now you are learning what you like and don’t like. I don’t eat any bars like those.

Well that is the point of the box :) And that's fine...not for everybody. Sometimes a bar is just good when I don't want to cook or don't want a big meal.

I tried a strawberry shortcake protein bar and it was awful!

That's too bad, the flavor sounds like it would be good!

@MommyOfEli2013 I had been at the fitness center and my blood sugar dropped down. I needed something, so I could drive back home. I grabbed a protein bar and it cost over $3.00! It was mostly sugar and some powdered milk, to give it a protein content. I'd never buy another one.

@kobesbuddy They definitely are expensive...especially if they are not good. It was good you bought it so you could drive home...but sorry it wasn't worth the price

I eat Walmart's Great Value Protein Bars. I've never tried anything Keto.

Not sure, but those sound like the store brand equivalent of quest bars. And that's is okay...I just keep asking because I am curious lol
