Charline Alston who is a bus driver in New York City is grateful that a Good Samaritan named Yomboue Bama who was inside the bus where a male named Edward Guerrero who some strange reason decided to attempt to beat up the bus driver when he blocked traffic in an attempt to get a bus ride. When Charlene stopped the bus in an attempt to ask Edward why he did not wait at a bus stop to be picked up like anyone else, Edward allegedly started to smash the windows of a MTA bus and entering the bus by the driver's window and proceed to hit her in the head. Yomboue who was sitting in his seat inside the bus managed to intervene by grabbing Edward and stop him from harming Charlene until the police arrived to take Edward into custody on assault charges. Charlene is recovering from her injuries and she will return to work as soon as she is able since being a bus driver is something that she enjoys doing. I know that working on New Years Day can be stressful since there are always a few people who do not have both of their oars in the water due to celebrating New Years Eve the night before.

How sick some people are! Edward certainly didn’t have both oars in the water even without stress.

I agree with you since my thought is "What was he thinking beating up a female bus driver just because he did not have to do that?"

It's a good thing. I will do the same thing if I encountered this situation.

I agree with you since I like the way that the bus driver will not allow one rotten apple to ruin her life.

That is a great expression about not having both their oars in the water. I haven't heard it before.

That would be a frighten situation to be in. Glad Charlene had Yomboue on board and willing to step up and stop it before it got worse.

I agree with you since if I were in Charlene's shoes I would panic but try to defend myself.

So many people are getting crazy nowadays that I think it is dangerous to go out. We just never know what happens in the future.

I agree with you since a lot of people would just be taking their cameras and filming the beating of the bus driver.

Is a person who helps is always considered a good Samaritan?

According to the news media they consider anyone who assists someone in need a Good Samaritan since they are trying to sell newspapers and television ratings.

@Deepizzaguy I know why they are doing that. Any similarity with the things done by the good Samaritan in the Bible they relate it to the good doings of the people.
