Working From Home Today

I picked a good day to work from home. Our weather is proving to be brutal today. We are going to experience high winds, and in the Midwest this can be very destructive. The only downside is I always end up working longer when at home. Since I am already home, it is easy to lose track of time, it seems like there is no end time as I do not need to pack up my stuff and drive home. I guess I will set an alarm that I am nearing the end of my usual end of shift.

You guys are too? I am in Nebraska, so we're practically neighbors, but I think you already know that.

That's a drawback of working from home... It's important to set a limit to our work time. But on a positive side you are saved from brutality of weather.

Yes, I would hate to be out and about in this weather. My drive to and from work is all flat grounds, no trees, forests or mountain ranges to break the wind.

Lucky you! Maybe after the pandemic many organizations will realize that working from home is a viable and acceptable work situation.

You are lucky to have a home based job, even after the pandemic is over it does have its numerous advantages and benefits.
