Are you a kind of person who has a word of honor? What i hate is that people or someone tell something and failed to do. Others promised and nailed. Do you have experiences that a person failed to do what he/she said to you? How do you feel. Image:google

A promise must be honored but there's a saying that promises are made to be broken . Well that depends on the situation. If I promised to deliver goods and then can't on the exact time then I see to it the I will reach out the person to let them know. Deeper than this situation, I think a person should.

Hmm,yes depend on the situation.. Like simply saying yes on the next day..next month this that..and when time comes,nothing.

@rhuenz i remember my mother when someone promise to her and never fulfilled, she will utter this phrase, maybe this year, maybe next year, maybe never...

I have no respect for those who do that. There is a Site where that is going on. What promised is not given.

If I make promises, I'll be sure to try my best to fulfill it. I expect the same from others. If they failed to do that without a valid reason, I won't trust the person anymore.

when it comes to finances, i am proud to say i am a woman with the word of honor. or anything i promise. I just fail sometimes to attend gatherings because i am too lazy or just not interested. but i always notify the person in advance. but it does not happen all the time.

I am glad you do what you say.. Gatherings, i can understand some failure reason to attend. But other thing ,simple things..failed to do then really frustrating.

Tbh, I don't like making promises. I am really afraid I couldn't do it. But if someone make promise, I will see if they make some efforts to fulfill it. It's fine even if they failed. For me the matter is the effort.
