Enjoying Karaoke singing

I do not have much of a voice but when I discovered the availability of background music with the help of which one could sing reasonably well I took advantage of that and have recorded a few songs. I need to improve a lot and hope to produce something I will be satisfied with.
This background music is free for download and so is the recorder that Google offers.
We had a sing along session when my nieces turned up, Christmas week.
Have you tried using Karaoke?

I never had tried karaoke. I cannot sing worth a darn and would not want to sing in front of others and make a fool of myself.

I love it. My parents had a couple of karaoke machines. I was never brave enough to sing in front of people until a friend's karaoke party - and then they couldn't stop me. I have a small machine now, but it is put away now. Luckily YouTube has a bunch of karaoke videos - I can sing anytime!!
