Alarming Call From My Cousin

My cousin that has COVID, was home for six days. Now she is back in the hospital for the third time in eight weeks.
Her sister called last night and said she was rushed to the hospital by ambulance. Her breathing was labored. Heart rate was very slow. Blood pressure dropped. Slurring her words. Her husband is so upset not knowing what is going on.
He asked the paramedics if she had a stroke. They said no, but they were not sure what was going on. She has been on oxygen 24/7 for eight weeks now.
I hope to get updates soon. This virus can be very difficult to recover from for many.
Just got off the phone with my cousin that has COVID. For those who followed my posts, she was in the hospital for six weeks. Discharged. Then was re-admitted...

As I type this I’m in the ER. I got short of breath, but probably from a panic attack. Covid has everyone so dang paranoid. And I feel bad because I’m taking a bed that someone who’s really sick, like your cousin, could use. I’m so sorry she’s suffering. It sounds bad.

@CarolDM — the doctor said my lungs are clear, so I guess we’ll have to get this GERD thing cleared up. Hope they have some better medicine for it!

She just cannot get a break. I am so so sorry she is back in the hospital once again. That is very hard not knowing what is going on with her. I hope you get updates soon and I hope one day she will be able to go home for good and not back to the hospital again. It must be so hard for her husband and for you and especially for her.

@CarolDM OMG I hope she will get better soon, the fact that she was readmitted to the hospital does not necessarily mean anything bad.. but of course I understand her husband's concern

@CarolDM Yes, that's right for everyone, it's declining, so it's growing and it's constantly changing ... I hope it will be ok.
